DRUM MIX PLANT DESCRIPTION

Modern Drum Mix technology is used to produce the highest quality hot Asphalt mixture. Coating action in the drum mix Plant produces uniform high quality hot mix with equipment that has few wearing parts and require less maintenance.

CONTROLS:
Aggregate is fed by a variable speed belt feeder for consistent & accurate control. Flow rates are adjusted with precision gates. Asphalt is pumped by a positive displacement pump with a variable speed drive. Flow rate of asphalt is adjustable.

COLD FEED: (4 bin aggregate feeder)
At the bottom of bins, adjustable gates are provided to regulate the flow of aggregate with four auxiliary conveyors. Gathering conveyor is equipped with scraper and driven by A.C. Motor. Aggregate from the Gathering conveyor is fed in to the drum by a slinger conveyor through vibrating screen.

DUST COLLECTION:
The inherent dust collection capacity of the drum mix process, along with the frame mounted dry dust collector makes this drum mixer a good neighbour. This machine has maximum dust collection efficiency so, wet collector is not necessary except in metropolitan areas.

DRUM:
The 1.20 mtr. X 6.1 mtr. drum heats the aggregate and mixes it with asphalt. Unit includes an oil burner & blower. The drum shell is made of high strength steel for a long life. Years of experience results in a flight design that optimizes efficiency and minimizes fuel usage

PORTABILITY:
This complete plant travels in one unit including drum mixer, dry dust collector and load out conveyor. The portability makes this plant ideal for small jobs and the high capacity makes it ideal for big jobs.
